Build an evidence bank before rewriting

Collect accurate notes about projects, responsibilities, problems solved, people supported, and results you can substantiate. Remove confidential employer information. This source material helps AI work from your record instead of producing generic claims.

Your years of experience are not a problem for the tool to hide. The task is to connect relevant experience to the role in language the employer can recognize.

Map the role to proof

Ask AI to create a table with each important requirement, your evidence, missing proof, and a question to answer. Review the table before asking for resume language. A blank cell is useful because it shows where you need a real example.

  • Keep job titles, dates, credentials, and numbers unchanged.
  • Replace vague claims with examples you can explain in an interview.
  • Remove keywords that do not match your actual experience.

Use the answer to prepare, not impersonate

Rewrite the final resume and cover letter in language you would use. Prepare interview questions from the role and practise concise answers from your evidence bank. Do not use AI to answer a live assessment or misrepresent your work.

Job platforms may use AI and profile data to recommend roles or explain a match. Review platform privacy and visibility settings and verify any generated match explanation before relying on it.
